Description

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) "High" version for VW MQB cars. If you have retrofitted TPMS sensors for all four tires, perform this coding. Otherwise, the malfunction lamp will turn on.

Coding Procedure

Step 1: Select Control Module "19 – Gateway"

  • Go to "Installation List"
  • Check "65-TPMS", then click "Write Coding".

Step 2: Select Control Module "03 - ABS Brakes"

  • Enter Security Access: "20103".

Long Coding

  • Byte 27 → Bit 4,5,6 → Uncheck
  • Byte 28 → Bit 7 → Uncheck

Step 3: Select Control Module "17 - Instrument"

  • Enter Security Access: "47115".

Long Coding

  • Byte 3 → Bit 7 → Active (TPMS)
  • Byte 4 → Bit 0 → Uncheck
  • Byte 11 → Bit 2 → Active (Tire Pressure Control BAP)

Step 4: Select Control Module "5F - Information Elec."

Go to Adaptation

  • Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2:
    • tire_pressure_system_0x07 → Active
    • tire_pressure_system_0x07_msg_bus → Suspension Data bus

Step 5: Select Control Module "65 - Tire Pressure"

  • Enter Security Access: "20103".

Go to Adaptation

  • Write sensor identification number → Wheel position "Rear Right".

Then a data record with the permitted tire sizes must be generated, which can then be transferred to Control Module 65-TPMS using VCP.
